Daddy: David, what's the girls name in your class that is pretty?
David: Mallorie
Daddy: Does she know you think she's pretty?
David: No. And and and Daddy, don't tell her. I don't know if I will be in love with someone else... so... remember don't tell her I'm in love with her.
Daddy: (chuckling) Ok David, I won't tell her.
David (to Jonathan): I'm gonna try to always be in love with her, but I don't know if I will. But I want to. Momma told me not to tell her because I might not be in love with her always. But I will.
Should I contact her parents and begin discussing the dowery?

Blogs can be built on just the things kids say. I love it!
What did Jonathan say? "You like a girl?!?!?" ;)
too stinkin' cute!!!! i LOVE that kid!!! and you can tell him - cause I'll always love 'em!!!
Sounds very different from Jonathan's perspective of girls.
